- Lectotype designated by Naorem & Khuraijam (2026: 257): du Petit-Thouars, Hist. Vég. (1804), t. II (Fructification du Cycas). Earlier citations of du Petit-Thouars s.n. at P as holotype (de Laubenfels 1972, repeated by de Laubenfels & Adema 1998: 360) are retained as typification history; the associated sheet P02429293 is not demonstrated to be original material for Brown (1810). Surviving original illustrations take precedence over any earlier neotype (ICN Arts. 9.13, 9.19).
