Etymology: From the Latin nubilis (‘cloud’) and montanus (‘mountain’), referring to the Wolkberg region (Wolkberg translated from Afrikaans means ‘cloud mountain’), Northern (now Limpopo) Province, South Africa, where this species was endemic (it is now extinct in the wild).[20] (Grobbelaar 2002, J.
