Lectotype designated by De Laubenfels & Adema (Blumea 43(2): 360, 1998) . Syntypes incorrectly indicated by Lindstrom & Hill (Telopea 11(4): 476 , 2007) and Singh et al. (Asian J. Conserv. Biol. 4(1): 4, 2015) because lectotype had previously been designated. Epitype designation by Singh et al. (2015) was not effected because the type it supported was not explicitly cited (article 9.8, McNeill et al., 2012). Epitype designated by Singh & Khuraijam (2016, Asian J. Conserv. Biol. 5(2): 89): Singh & Khuraijam 67636 (CAL).
